GMP Training Manager - Upper Midwest Opportunity
This growing pharmaceutical development and manufacturing organization in the upper midwest that has been in business for more than 60 years is seeking a current GMP training supervisor who is looking to move to the next level in their career. In this leadership role, the GMP Training Manager will be directly responsible for leading site-wide GMP training.
- Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of current internal training systems (both initial and annual training)
- Responsible for improvement of processes related to the delivery, tracking, and measurement of training metrics/effectiveness
- Responsible for the development and delivery of an effective site-wide GMP training program (initial and annual refresher training) for new and existing employees
- Evaluation of training needs, training module development, and curriculum development
- Responsible for review and monitoring of training compliance metrics
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of all training SOPs
- Collaborates with department managers and direct reports to develop position training needs
- Ability to interface with and communicate effectively with regulatory agencies regarding internal training policies, procedures and documentation
- Maintains current knowledge of the regulatory environment and requirements regarding GMP training in the pharmaceutical industry
- Responsible for the direct supervision, coaching and development of training development staff
Requirements:
- BS degree required; advance degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry with direct experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment, including 5 years of direct people management experience required.
- Proven record of achievement in successful development of training programs to ensure training compliance.
- Strong proficiency with Learning Management Systems applications preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills required.
